My name is Elsa L. Garcia-Castells and I currently live in Eagle Pass, Texas. I have worked in the Eagle Pass Independent School District (EPISD) for 18 years. My role has varied in between teaching grade levels Pre-K, 1st grade, and 2nd grade where I am currently at. In addition to teaching 2nd grade, I am also the head teacher in charge of my 2nd grade team.
In Spring of 2005, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Education at Sul Ross University.
I am currently pursing a Masters in Educational Technology at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Thru this M. Ed program will give me the tools I need to reach students where they are, better engage and improve educational outcomes for all my students.
